Practical, simple, and creative ways to:
- teach vocally efficient, expressive singing and speaking
- address the causes of inefficient singing and speaking, rather than "fixing the symptoms"
- help children, adolescents, and older adults sing efficiently and expressively through their voice changes
- apply science-based voice knowledge in general music, choral, and speech settings, and in private voice teaching
- use conducting gestures and nonverbal communications that integrate (1) vocal efficiency, (2) choral tone, (3) vocal health, and (4) musical expressiveness
- teach and rehearse even more effectively so that people:
- learn more quickly and accurately
- love to sing and speak expressively
- become increasingly respectful, and considerate.
- Inform administrators and the public of the psychological and biological value of arts education.
